Spring registration is OPEN!
We so excited to provide a full lineup of spring classes for our youth athletes. A couple highlights of this season include the return of the Junior Racers program as well as a *new* opportunity for all of our athletes to attend a regatta on June 4th through our Recreational Racer Add-On package. Below is an outline of our class offerings for this spring.
For Experienced Rowers
Youth Experienced Rowers, Tuesdays & Thursdays at 4:30 - 6pm. This class is for anyone who has rowed at least 1 season on the water and wants to continue rowing for fun!
Junior Racers, Monday & Wednesday at 3:15 - 5:15pm, Tuesdays & Thursdays at 4:30-6pm, and Saturday mornings beginning April 30th at 8-10am. This class is for athletes who want to improve their rowing technique in preparation for regional regattas. A full practice schedule as well as information for uniforms, etc., will be emailed to participants upon registering.
*NEW* Youth Recreational Racer Add-On This is an opportunity for the recreational rower to try out a regatta by practicing 5 days a week for 3 weeks leading up to the Mayor’s Cup Regatta in Providence on June 4th.
For New Rowers
Youth Intro to Rowing, Mondays & Wednesdays at 5 - 7pm. This class is for anyone in grades 8 - 12 who would like to try rowing! Learn the basics on land and on the water to decide if rowing is the sport for you!
Novice Rowers, Mondays & Wednesdays at 5 - 7pm. This class is a continuation of the first session, where new rowers build on their skills from the first session to become more comfortable in a variety of rowing shells.
*NEW* Youth Recreational Racer Add-On. This is an opportunity for the novice rower to try out a regatta by practicing 5 days a week for 3 weeks leading up to the Mayor’s Cup Regatta in Providence on June 4th.
The spring season will run from March 28th through June 6th.
