Race Opportunity: Mayor's Cup

Attention NRC Members!

Do you need a little motivation to get out on the water? Do you want to give yourself a challenge to get back in shape? Do you want to start off the summer with a regatta?

The Junior Racers are heading to Mayor's Cup in Providence on June 2nd and would love to have some masters rowers compete, too! The regatta is hosted by Narragansett Boat Club Races begin around 8 am and conclude by 3pm, though the exact race times will not be determined until closer to the regatta. The race is 1000m for master's events.

Events for Masters include:

Men's and Women's 1x

Men's and Women's 2x

Mixed Master's 2x

Men's and Women's 4x

Mixed Master's 4x

Parent/Child 2x

For our collegian rowers who will be home for the summer, Open events are available too for 1x, 2x, and 2-. Open races are 2000m.

Entry fees are as follows:

$65 for 4x

$45 for 2x and 2-

$30 for 1x

We also ask that you consider making a donation towards the cost of transporting the trailer to and from Providence.
