Spend time outdoors and get out on the water by participating in the annual free National Learn to Row Day, at Noank Rowing Club located in Spicer Park, Noank CT on June 3, 2017 @ 9:00 to noon.
Members will lead activities that will include orientation to the sport of rowing, different types of rowing shells and equipment, land-based introduction to rowing on ergometers, and getting on the water in a double or quad shell. Coaches and experienced club members will oversee the event. This event is open to individuals age 12 through adult who are able to swim 50 yards and tread water for 10 minutes.
